About Us

Island Speed and Style was started by a group of friends who loved drifting but needed a way to enjoy the sport in a safe manner without distrubing the public. It has now turned into a bi-yearly event bringing out hundreds of peoples of all ages and backgrounds! From the moment the gates open until they close, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie ready to buckle up and be part of the show or prefer to sit back and watch the action unfold, this event has got you covered! Our event consists of both a car show and track events, along with a limbo and 2-step competition.

Genre

Not just for one style of vehicle or one age group. we gladly welcome as much variety on display and in action with various awards for those styles! Cape Breton is known for its incredible collection of Antique muscle cars and quality builds of all generations and styles of motorsports. From tube chassis race cars to clean newer cars we have the goals to display something for everyone.

Expectations

Focusing on Spectators enjoyment we ask each entry to be respectful of the Venue's rules and be understanding of chaos we create for the day with so much activity jammed into one day events are all juggled throughout the day. our schedules will be set and we will do our best to follow it but as the event goes through the day things will change.

Track Events

Put on your helmet and take on the challenge of our custom autocross/drift track to set the fastest time or pull off the slickest drifts! Alternatively, put your car to the test in our limbo and 2-step competitions!
